The site is currently undergoing a major enhancement programme to provide retailers, brands, media agencies and suppliers alike with all the information and resources needed to develop effective digital media solutions for the retail environment. This will include live case studies, research, analyses and industry guides.

2008 and Beyond...

The POPAI AGM and Meeting at the beginning of the year saw all of the working groups make clear their intentions for the P-O-P industry for the next 12 months and beyond.


Below is a summary of POPAIdigital’s planned activity for 2008 presented by Deputy Head of the Group, Nick Gale. Other working group highlights can be found on their dedicated pages on this website:

• Digital in Retail Forum

The forum, launched at the end of last year, meets quarterly to answer questions such as, ‘What are the obstacles for adoption?’ and ‘What are the viable business models?’ Independent research on the use of digital media in retail will form the basis of final reports and feedback to POPAI members at Digital in Retail events as well as via the new POPAIdigital website and email updates.

• ‘POPAIdigital Guide to Digital Media in Retail’

This exciting new publication offers an all-encompassing and fully up-to-date overview of the industry and gives insights into the way forward. Sure to be a valuable asset to anyone in the digital business, the guide was officially launched at the Digital Media in Retail Evening in July.
